Delete Your Moim Account

Moim ("Moim - Event Planning & RSVP") allows you to request deletion of your account and associated data at any time. This page describes how to request deletion and what happens to your data.

How to Request Account Deletion

Open the Moim app or website (www.mymoim.com) and sign in with your Google or Kakao account.
Go to Settings (tap your profile icon, then Settings).
Scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete Account".
Confirm in the dialog that appears. Your account will be permanently deleted.
Alternatively, you can email info.mymoim@gmail.com with your account email to request deletion. We will process your request within 14 days.

Data That Will Be Deleted

Your profile information (name, profile photo, email)
Your RSVP history and event participation records
Photos you uploaded to events
Chat messages you sent
Club memberships and activity
Device tokens for push notifications
Any other data associated with your account

Data That May Be Retained

Some data may be retained in anonymized form for legal or operational purposes. For example, event attendance records may remain anonymized (without your name or profile) so that event hosts can view historical attendance counts. We do not retain personal identifiers after account deletion.

Retention Period After Deletion

Deletion is permanent and processed within 14 days of your request. Backups may retain deleted data for up to 30 days before being purged. After that, your data is no longer recoverable.
